How we work

The two functions of the company, Sculpture Conservation and Creation are carried out in different locations. All the conservation work is carried out on site, whether it is in a parish church or museum.

The fine art carving is done in Antonia’s studio in Ipswich. In some cases where the art commission is large or part of an existing structure, the work is undertaken on site.
Antonia currently works by herself, only sub-contracting to other specialists when the project requires it i.e. scaffolding erected or heavy lifting equipment. This way she can maintain a quality of craftsmanship, which otherwise can be difficult to achieve when there is a large workforce.
She has worked on many sites as part of a team, but is equally happy to run a project single-handed.
